Field Hockey Advances To State Championship Game

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey team punched their ticket to the PIAA State Championship Game, defeating Central Columbia in overtime.
The Bubblers and Blue Jays played a highly competitive game with neither team being able to find a goal in regulation. Boiling Springs earned 10 corners and fired eight shots. The game went to overtime, and with 30 seconds remaining in the overtime period, Reagan Eickhoff blasted a shot into the back of the cage, securing the victory.
Boiling Springs will face District 2 Champion Wyoming Area School District in the State Championship Game on Saturday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Valley High School.
